2011 National Hunger and Homlessness week: Schedule of Events

Monday, October 17th - Deadline submission for all 5th graders wanting to participate in this years “Are They Smarter Than a 5th Grader” game show.  Please send your multi-media, written or photo essays to mhc@mhcfoodpantry.org!! 

Friday, November 18th - MHC will host its 3rd annual “Are They Smarter Than a 5th Grader” game show at Bloomington South High Auditorium located at 1965 S. Walnut St.  Please come out for a fun evening with the whole family and to support the hunger and homelessness awareness in your Bloomington community!  Tickets will be available for $10 both in advanced and at the door.  Kids 5 and under get in for free!  We hope to see you there!

National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week provides us with an opportunity to see more, learn more, and do more about poverty in our local community. Though this week is observed nationally, our focus is on the problems of hunger and homelessness right here in Bloomington, Indiana. Please join us as we raise awareness and work together to alleviate poverty.
